Black History Month

Unless you agree with Morgan Freeman that Black History Month is ridiculous, here are some ideas on how to honor the month from around the web. I would agree that it shouldn’t be limited to the shortest month of the year and that we should celebrate these achievements and role models throughout the year.

Black Gives Back is posting regularly this month with timely topics.

The History Channel has, well, history and videos.

Correspondingly, the Biography Channel has biographies.

Infoplease has links to biographies and articles as well as quizzes and games.

Racialicious has some video on how not to plan your Black History Month Event.
