Youth Rising in Need of Computers
A friend of mine has started a non-profit called Youth Rising. They are collecting used computers for its technology center in Santiago, Dominican Republic. These machines will be used to teach computing skills to kids who will be using computers for the very first time! One of the cool things about this group is that virtually all the founding board members were mentored in some fashion by Marshall during his youth development career. They run projects on the North Shore of MA as well as in the Dominican.
